We’re Freegxrl Media, your new favorite online community - a digital safe space for gxrls, by gxrls. Here, you’ll be part of meaningful conversations that range from art and culture to relationships and self-discovery, all in a judgment-free zone. Run by some of the coolest creatives you’ll meet, this corner of the internet is where you can truly be yourself.

Created by Head Fairy Ashley Ighorewo, Freegxrl Media was born out of a passion for amplifying underrepresented voices and stories. We believe in the power of community, and our goal is to build spaces where everyone feels heard and understood.

We don’t just connect online. Through For The Girls (FTG), we bring people together IRL with curated events hosted by some of Canada’s best female DJs and with our dance workshop sessions Freedom Steps, we’re always aiming to curate creative meet ups for our community.
